Haven of Hope Counseling is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization under the name Haven of Hope of Dekalb County, Inc.
We provide services to all individuals regardless of race, religion, color, creed, national origin, age, disability, sexual identity, or sexual orientation.  
Haven of Hope is dedicated to helping individuals and families overcome life-changing issues and life-controlling problems.  We specialize in providing individual, family, marital, pre-marital, and group counseling to anyone over the age of 6 years.
Our counselors are able to address individual needs by utilizing a variety of treatment approaches, including cognitive behavioral therapy, EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), family therapy, relational therapy, art therapy, and play therapy.
We work with clients dealing with the following:

Suicidal Thoughts/Self-Harming
Behavioral Problems in School Aged Children

Alcohol and Drug Assessment

Anger Management – $20.00 per class (must complete 6 classes for certification)

We accept most major insurances, EAO;s, TennCare and offer a Sliding Fee Scale for those with Medicare or not insured.

This facility is a member of the National Health Service Corps. NHSC.hrsa.gov

Insurance companies recommend sessions be kept at 45 minutes.  Sessions billed as an hour last 50-60 minutes.

Initial visit (Intake) – $140.00

Sessions lasting 16-37 minutes – $60.00

Sessions lasting 38-60 minutes and family sessions over 26 minutes– $110.00

A & D Sessions – $150.00 ($235.00 with session) *Not covered by insurance*

Masters Level Counselor:

Initial visit (Intake) – $120.00

Sessions lasting 16-37 minutes – $55.00

Sessions lasting 38-52 minutes – $65.00

Sessions lasting over 53 minutes – $85.00

Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC):

Initial visit (Intake) – $140.00

Sessions lasting 16-37 minutes – $60.00

Sessions lasting 38-52 minutes – $95.00

Sessions lasting over 53 minutes – $110.00

Lisa came to Haven of Hope in May 2019 with over 40 years of office experience.  When not spending time with family she enjoys crafting, cooking and reading.  She is a member of Smithville First Baptist Church.
As a founding member of the DeKalb County Angel Tree Project, Inc. Lisa serves as the Vice President. The program just celebrated its 25th year of providing Christmas presents to the underserved children of DeKalb County.
